lovely hotel with amazing food

this hotel was a great experience. the food was delicious with a huge variety of options, i especially loved the snack bar. the hotel gave me a lovely room on the 9th floor that had an amazing view. the gym was great and had all the equipment i needed for my workouts.
the room cleaning could have been better, as it often happened late in the afternoon and sometimes the floors were not cleaned to my expectation. however, the staff were always quick to address any concerns i had.

poor soundproofinglimited drinks
i found a couple of things a bit off. first, the soundproofing in my 'standard double room side sea view' was not great. i could hear everything (and i mean everything) from the hallway and even the tv from the next room. plus, while the food variety at the buffet was decent, the drink selection was a bit underwhelming. it felt more like a basic bar than a 5-star experience (but maybe my expectations were too high).

staff was friendly. food had variety and good taste. i appreciated the convenient private car park. lobby bar was awesome so i went there often.
the hotel is old so the facilities is below a 5 star hotel. there was a hole between the window frame and a wall. wind blew in the room through it.
